Having a Chronic Illness condition can drain your energy. Therefore fatigue is a very real problem for many people.
Often it is misunderstood by those who do have or understand chronic illness.

This can be as simple as knowing about the condition itself!
When a chronic illness is present, the body is less efficient in its use of energy reserved for everyday activities, in part because some of this energy is used to help the body heal.
Inactivity - muscles that are not used become deconditioned and less efficient in doing what they are supposed to do.
Poor Nutrition - food is our basic source of energy. Eating poor quality foods and incorrect quantities will also be a cause of fatigue. Obesity or extra weight causes an increase in the amount of energy needed to perform daily activities.
Insufficient Rest - are you getting enough sleep, or do you have poor quality sleep. Again, this can also cause fatigue and increase your cortisol (stress) hormone.
Emotions - stress and depression can also cause significant fatigue. Most people are aware of the connection between stress and feeling tired, fewer are aware of the fact fatigue is a major symptom of depression!
